UPDATE: Atlanta Family Seeks Release for Falsely Accused Son on Rice Street

The 20-year-old Atlanta man has been detained for 29 months without bond and no trial

Atlanta,Georgia-March 4, 2025 Gerald Rose, of New Order Human Rights Organization, will be hosting a followup Press Conference at 11 a.m. with the family of Leon Moss, a young man being falsely accused of several serious crimes. Leon Moss (Sr) and Pristine Parr, parents of Leon Moss, will provide those in attendance with additional evidence concerning the case against their son, proof that the DA’s office has ignored for almost 30 months.

“We have the discovery package, and the 911 call and know the DA’s office is aware their witness has made false allegations. I met DA Willis over two years, in June of 2023, and provided her with proof of my son's innocence way back then, ” Parr states.

On September 13, 2022, the junior Moss, told police he got into a car that was left running on the street, the driver side door open. Moss is seen driving into apartments over 2 miles from where he says the car was left. The time stamp on the video shows him go through the gates of the apartment at 8:11 a.m, a full hour before a woman calls 911 and claims she and her child have been attacked. She tells police the intruder stole her car and had just left her home.

“I have provided the DA’s office with proof of my son’s innocence both in person and by email,” states Parr, who has a copy of the email she sent DA Willis in her son’s case, per the DA’s request to contact her assistant Tia Green.”We were completely ignored. Just like now,”

Gerald Rose, of New Order Human Rights Organization, is calling for the immediate release of Leon Moss due to insufficient evidence and prosecutorial misconduct. “We’re not going away. We’re going to keep applying pressure because this is ridiculous.”
