UPDATE: Shocking Development in the case of a Falsely Accused Man on Rice Street
The 20-year-old Atlanta man has been detained for 32 months without bond and without trial
Atlanta,Georgia-May 21, 2025 A Press Conference following the Motions Hearing for Leon Moss in Judge Barwick’s courtroom,8A, at the Fulton County Superior Court, at 9:30 a.m., will be held by the family of Leon Moss. Leon Moss (Sr) and Pristine Parr, Moss’s parents, along with Gerald Rose of New Order Human Rights organization, will provide those in attendance with more exonerating evidence concerning the case involving their son.
“We have evidence that shows my son’s Cash App account was compromised and that the state’s star witness’s bank card was added to his Cash App the day before her accusations. My son doesn’t know her and she has told police she doesn’t know him. So how was her card linked to his Cash App the day before she made her allegations?” Parr questions.
On September 13, 2022, the junior Moss told police he got into a car that was left running on the street, the driver side door open. Moss is seen driving into apartments over two miles from where he says the car was left, a block away from where the car’s owner lived. The time stamp on the video shows him go through the gates of the apartments at 8:11 a.m, a full hour before the car’s owner calls 911 and claims she and her child have been sexually assaulted. She tells police the intruder stole her car and had just left her home. However, the 911 call tells a different story. “She tells the operator she woke up to a man holding her down and attempting to assault her,” the Sr Moss reveals. “She said “attempted” twice. But when the police come she tells them she never said that. She claims she always said raped.” Both pieces of evidence were left out of the discovery package given to Moss’s previous attorney.
Gerald Rose, of New Order Human Rights Organization, is calling for the immediate release of Leon Moss. “We’re not going away. This young man needs to come home.”
